Vish enjoys operating at the intersection of technology innovation, customer experience, and entrepreneurship. Prior to Zapario, Thirumurthy was the Head of Strategic Business Development and Partner Products for Epicor’s four business units where he led partner strategy spanning the ISV, SI, and channel partner eco-system to further the company’s product vision in the Cloud for Manufacturing, Distribution, and Retail. From 2002, Thirumurthy worked at Microsoft, where he served in a variety of global roles.  His experience at Microsoft includes innovating and deployingsales, marketing, and service experiences for Microsoft’s enterprise customers. Thirumurthy founded and led the Customer Care Framework and SOA solution groups; guiding solution innovation atop the Microsoft platform and bringing those solutions to market. Consequently, Thirumurthy worked with Microsoft’s worldwide customers and partners in Telecommunications & Media, Financial Services, Professional Services, Healthcare, Public sector, and Manufacturing and Distribution. Thirumurthy holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana and an MBA from the University of Colorado. Thirumurthy has been a speaker at many global industry events and has been featured in online and print media. He has published a book titled “Defining Customer Care”; he co-authored the book with Dr. Jon Anton (Adjunct Professor, Purdue University).
